State Center Credit Union's 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, May 9, 2009 was a huge success! More than 250 members attended the event. Our members enjoyed great food catered by the Clovis Elks Lodge and lively music by Docabilly Band. The kids loved face painter Carmela Sousa as well as jumping in the bounce house. And everyone had a great time playing Bingo at the end of the day,

We even had the Fresno Fire Department's Station #13 stop by with their red fire engine for a visit. State Center is currently fundraising for the Fresno Fire Department so they can purchase Thermal Image Cameras for each fire engine to help save lives.

State Center Credit Union would like to thank John Wallace (long-time member) for being the master of ceremonies for our anniversary. We would also like to thank some of our partners in business that donated gifts for the prize giveaways: PSCU; FiServ; Loss Protection & Investigations Inc.; Advantage Specialties; Sierra HR Partners; Alphagraphics Printing; JP Marketing; and Dumont Printing.

Dennis Prindiville, our longest serving board member, presented a crystal vase to Margaret Jones for her dedication and hard work at State Center Credit Union for more than 38 years of service.  Margaret continues to work at the Shaw branch and the State Building twice a week.
