A. If you are unable to afford your mortgage payments and want to avoid foreclosure, pleasecontact your mortgage holder immediately. If State Center Credit Union is your mortgage holder, call us at (800) 448-2882 and we will work with you towards restructuring your loan. This could be a loan modification or a complete rewrite of your loan.

B. The documents you should gather before meeting with your financial institution are as follows:

  i. Your current mortgage statement
  ii. Current insurance information covering your home
  iii. Last two years tax returns and six months of bank statements
  iv. Property tax bill information if paid by you or your mortgage holder
